PAOW! Protein-Powered Hummus


1 ½ cups of PAOW!™ Pieces
1 can Garbanzo beans
1-2 clove Garlic chopped fine
1/2 cup Lemon juice
1/3 cup Tahini
1/2 tsp Sea salt
3/4 tsp Cumin
4 tbsp ice water
1/3 cup of Olive Oil


  1. Boil PAOW! pieces for 4 minutes then drain.
  2. Place the PAOW! pieces in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped
  3. Drain and rinse garbanzo beans, then place in the food processor with the finely chopped PAOW! piece, pulse until smooth
  4. Add lemon juice and chopped garlic to the food processor with the Garbanzo Beans and PAOW! pieces, pulse until blended
  5. Add tahini and 1/3 cup of olive oil, 4 tbsp water to food processor and blend until creamy. Reserve the other 2 tbsp water to use later if the hummus needs to be thinned out.
  6. Add sea salt
  7. Taste and adjust flavor as needed. If you like it super tangy, add a bit more lemon juice.


Just scoop hummus onto a serving bowl or plate and create a well with the back of your spoon, and drizzle olive oil and your favorite toppings.
